No Refunds!

A funny thing happened on the way to the trading post.
Language is such a subtle thing.  Fire water vs holy water.  Who knew the natives would be so upset?
A game of Flint and Feather.  The Indian brothers attack a French trading post.
The Indians approach at a walk.  Perhaps they're here to trade?  The unfinished palisade is not much of a defense.
With a warcry  the warband of Matticacus charges the trade post.  Firelocks discharge from the defenders.  1 ball drops a companion in spectacular fashion.

The rest of the band gets around the shack, killing the leader of the French Indian allies, which scares the other one off.  The French Capitan, Chateu D'Blanc, fires off both pistols but they only tear off an eagle feather from Chief Matticacus.
On the other flank,  his brother, chief Flinnimungo, attacks, killing the french trappers, capturing one.
Capitan Chateaux D'Blanc manages to jump back from the Indian onslaught and retreats to the blockhouse with a wounded trapper.
The warband can't find a quick way in.  They loot what they can from the fallen combatants.

On the other side, the remaining Indian allies are trapped in a hut, but after a bold charge, leap over one of Flinnimungos warriors and flee into the woods.

  1. Thanks Dan. It might look a bit Viking, because we were going to play Battle Troll but Howard couldn't find the rules and cards. :)
